A new O.BBa Jjajang Express outlet has opened right over at the Woodlands Koufu HQ food court. The price of the items was reduced to almost half of their restaurant menu pricing since the stall was located inside an industrial foodcourt where a restaurant would normally be.

As this was an ‘Express’ outlet, there were very few but extensive items available. There are four different versions of the Jajangmyeon, including the famous Gochu Jjajangmyeon. Plus, you can choose between a noodle or rice version of both the Spicy Seafood Soup (Jjampong) and Blackbean sauce (Jjajang). 대박 ~
Since there were 3 of us, we decided to get a main each and ordered additional sides such as
Tangsuyuk ($13) and the different types of Mandoo (comes in 2, price range $2.5 ~ $3.5) to share as well.

Galbi Mandoo – 2 pieces for $3
Fried Mandoo – 3 pieces for $3.50
My verdict?
Their food is pretty similar to what they serve at their restaurant located in Tanjong Pagar. I highly recommend pairing your main dish with the Galbi Mandoo!
Due to the fact that we were there during lunch, it can get pretty crowded and the waiting time for the food could be as long as 20 minutes. In case you live or work nearby Woodland, you might want to check them out since Obba.Express is not close to any MRT/Bus station.
(PS: Obba Express is also available on Grabfood! That’s wonderful news for those residing in the Woodlands area***)
Alternatively, if you’re craving badly for Jjajang-Jjampongor Jjajangmyeon, you can also purchase their kit meal packs which are available both online & offline store!
